The Honeymoon

First things first... The Honeymoon. We had so much fun, and I am so glad we decided to bite the bullet and spend the money to fly! Seattle was really amazing. We didnt go crazy trying to see all the sights; we pretty much spent all our time at Pikes. Its really the best part of Seattle anyway, and on the way back Ben bought a 10 lb Salmon at the famous fish market right behind us. We made some salmon soup that was amazing.

The next day we went to Vancouver and ate at Relish restaurant just down the street from our hotel. We wish we could have done more in Vancouver but we did spend some time in China town and we ate lunch Hong's. Its supposed to be a really famous chinese noodle place but I hated it. It was really gross and there was horrible service, and what made it worse was that we searched for it for what felt like forever. Vancouver is a beautiful city though and we had fun enjoying it.

We drove for just two hours to get to our final destination. Whistler BC for those of you who haven't been there its a lot like Park City only a ton bigger and of course better. The drive from Vancouver to Whistler is said to be the most beautiful in North America and we can definitely attest to the truth of that, it was remarkable! We spent an entire day just laying by one of the lakes up there; it was so nice to just relax for a while. Our favorite night out was at a fondue restaurant. It was so good! Starting out was the cheese fondue with bread, very comparable to the one I went to in France. Then the meats which was way fun too, it took a long time to cook but we really enjoyed ourselves. Finally, dessert which of course was a chocolate fondue to die for.

It obvious from these picks that we had way too much fun on the Zip Trek Tour at whistler. It was the one kind of expensive thing we planned on doing and it was totally worth it. The tour consisted of 5 zip lines that went tree top to tree top going down the mountain. The took professional pictures for us but we thought ours were better. The fourth zip line was by far the best it was a half a mile long which was the longest in NA until Alaska built one 10 feet longer last year. It crosses the stream 5 times and if you keep your feet and arms in you can go 50 -70 miles per hour depending on your weight. Needless to say, it was amazing. The last zip line was also fun because the tour guide told us to go upside down with our hands hanging down which made it so crazy. We loved it!

Yeah, Ben had a little too much fun with the video...
